1989 Ford LTD Police Rental Added in Florida

Movie Car Registry has added the 1989 Ford LTD Police to its listings through the USA Movie Cars network. This four-door sedan sits in Palm Bay, Florida, and carries the trim and markings of a period police vehicle from the late 1980s. Productions working in Florida now have another local option when they need a blue police sedan that reads as authentic for the era without requiring further modification.

Spotlight on this 1989 Ford LTD Police

The vehicle shows a blue exterior paired with a matching blue interior. It is configured as a four-door sedan with an automatic transmission and gasoline engine. The listing identifies it simply as a 1980s police vehicle, which aligns with the Crown Victoria platform that many departments used during that decade. Its straightforward appearance makes it suitable for background or closer shots where the body style and color need to match the time period.

Producers can see the sedan in its current condition through the supplied photos on the listing page. The blue paint and four-door layout give it a recognizable patrol-car silhouette that fits street scenes set in the 1980s or early 1990s. Because the car is already located in Palm Bay, Florida, crews working along the east-central coast of the state can reduce transport time and cost when they choose this unit.

Movie Car Registry and the Florida Picture Car Market

Movie Car Registry works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles listed across multiple states. When a car is based in Palm Bay, Florida, the network routes the listing to state-focused searches so location managers and picture car coordinators can find local options quickly. USA Movie Cars maintains this arrangement with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to keep regional inventory visible without forcing crews to search nationwide databases first.

The addition of this 1989 Ford LTD Police expands the Florida inventory available through the registry. Productions filming in the state can review the vehicle details and photos on moviecarregistry.com and then contact the network directly if the sedan matches their scene requirements. This structure keeps the process simple for both independent filmmakers and larger crews that need reliable local picture vehicles.

History of the 1989 Ford LTD Police

The Ford LTD Crown Victoria served as a common patrol platform for many police departments throughout the 1980s. Its full-size sedan body provided room for equipment and offered the durability departments needed for daily use. By 1989 the model had already established a familiar profile on streets and in news footage of the period, which is why it continues to appear in productions that want accurate visual texture for that decade.

The four-door configuration and automatic transmission were standard for fleet orders, and the blue color combination matches many municipal schemes from the era. While individual departments added their own light bars and markings, the base sedan shape remained consistent. This consistency helps productions use the vehicle as a background element or as a character car without needing extensive changes to match the time frame.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

Crews can place the sedan in establishing shots of 1980s or early 1990s street scenes set in Florida. Its blue paint and four-door profile supply the right visual cue for police presence without drawing focus away from foreground action. The vehicle also works in commercials or branded content that reference the period, where a single authentic car can anchor the look of an entire sequence.

Still photographers and music video teams can use the sedan for static or slow-moving shots that need era-specific background texture. Event planners have booked similar vintage police cars for themed gatherings or corporate activations that want a touch of 1980s law-enforcement styling. Because the car is already in Palm Bay, Florida, any of these uses can be arranged with shorter lead times than vehicles shipped from out of state.
