1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Rental Added in New Mexico

Movie Car Registry has added this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe to its listings through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle is located in Peralta, New Mexico, giving crews working in the state access to a 1960s-era sports car for local shoots. Productions filming in New Mexico can contact the network to arrange the car for scenes that need period-appropriate vehicles without relying on out-of-state transport.

Spotlight on this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

The listing shows a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe finished in Ermine White with a Bright Blue leather interior. It features a four-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, stock side pipes, knock-off wheels, and redline tires. These elements give the car a clean 1960s sports-car appearance that stands out in establishing shots or as a character vehicle.

The two-door coupe body and classic details make it suitable for background texture in period settings. Producers can use the visible mechanical features like the side pipes and wheels to add authenticity to close-ups or driving sequences set in the mid-1960s.

Movie Car Registry and the New Mexico Picture Car Market

Movie Car Registry works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles across the country. USA Movie Cars partners with state-level picture-car sites such as New Mexico Picture Cars to simplify searches for local options. This approach helps crews filming in New Mexico locate vehicles based in Peralta, New Mexico, rather than arranging long-distance moves.

The network covers the Southwest and other regions, so location managers and picture-car coordinators can check one system for both national and state-specific listings. Peralta, New Mexico, sits within easy reach of Albuquerque and other production hubs, which reduces travel time for day shoots.

History of the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe belongs to the second-generation Corvette line that ran from 1963 through 1967. During this period the model gained wider recognition as a performance-oriented American sports car with a fiberglass body and distinctive styling. The coupe version offered a fixed roof that appealed to buyers looking for a more enclosed grand-tourer feel compared with the convertible.

By the mid-1960s the Corvette had become a recognizable symbol of American automotive design, appearing in magazines and on roads as a premium two-seater. The 1965 model year included updates to the interior and chassis that carried forward the era’s emphasis on driving engagement. Crews seeking vehicles that reflect that time frame can draw on these general design traits when matching the car to scripts set in the 1960s.

New Mexico Picture Car Rental Uses

Crews filming in New Mexico can place the Corvette in scenes that call for 1960s vehicles. It works for character-driven shots where the car helps define a personality or lifestyle from that decade. The white exterior and blue interior also provide contrast in establishing shots of driveways, streets, or parking areas.

Still photographers and music-video directors can use the car for static or slow-moving sequences that need classic sports-car styling. Commercial and branded-content teams can position it as background texture in lifestyle or automotive spots. Event planners sometimes request period vehicles for displays or photo opportunities tied to 1960s themes.

The manual transmission and visible performance details allow sound and motion teams to capture authentic driving footage when the script requires it. Because the car is already based in Peralta, New Mexico, productions avoid extra logistics that come with importing vehicles from farther away.
